WalletDiary (日曆錢包)

Effective 29 August 2026 · Last updated 29 August 2026

The short version. WalletDiary collects nothing. It has no account system, no servers, and no analytics. Every entry, budget, ledger and schedule you create is stored on your device and never leaves it. The app works with no network connection at all, because it never needs one.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy describes how the WalletDiary mobile app (com.amikoai.walletdiary) handles information. It applies to the app itself. It does not cover Apple's App Store or Google Play, which have their own privacy policies governing your download and purchase.

2. Information we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, transmit, store, sell or share any personal information about you. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no email address to hand over, and no way for us to identify you or your device.

We do not collect any of the following:

On Apple's App Privacy questionnaire, WalletDiary is declared as Data Not Collected.

3. What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter, WalletDiary keeps in a private database inside the app's own storage area on your device:

This data is readable only by WalletDiary and is protected by your device's own operating-system sandbox and encryption. It is never uploaded, backed up to us, synced between devices, or made available to us or anyone else. We have no servers, so there is nowhere for it to go.

4. Device backups

If you have enabled iCloud Backup, encrypted iTunes/Finder backups, or Google device backup, your operating system may include WalletDiary's data in those backups. That is a function of your device and your relationship with Apple or Google, governed by their privacy policies — not something the app initiates or can see. You can exclude the app from backups in your device settings.

5. Notifications

WalletDiary can remind you about an entry before its time. These are local notifications: they are scheduled by the app on your device, delivered by your operating system, and never routed through a push server. The reminder's text — the entry's name and its time — is composed on your device and stays there.

You are asked for notification permission the first time you set a reminder, and you can withdraw it at any time in your device settings. Declining does not affect any other part of the app.

6. Permissions

PermissionPlatformWhy
Notifications iOS, Android To show reminders you have scheduled yourself
Exact alarms Android So a reminder arrives at the minute you asked for
Run at startup Android To restore pending reminders after the device restarts

The app requests no other permissions. It does not ask for the network, camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or storage outside its own sandbox.

7. Third parties

WalletDiary contains no advertising, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter and no social or marketing integration. No third party receives data from the app, because the app sends data to no one.

The app is built with open-source software libraries that run entirely on your device and perform no network communication of their own — among them Flutter, Hive for local storage, and a local-notifications library. Including a library in an app is not a transfer of data to its authors.

8. Children's privacy

WalletDiary is suitable for general audiences and collects no information from anyone, including children. Because nothing is collected, no personal information from a child under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction) can ever be received by us.

9. Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA and Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act give you rights to access, correct, delete, port and restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to its sale.

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, delete, export or restrict, and nothing to sell — we do not sell or share personal information, and never have. Your data is already entirely in your own hands:

10. Data breaches

We hold no user data, so there is no store of personal information for us to lose. Your data's security is the security of your own device: a passcode, biometric lock and up-to-date operating system are what protect it.

11. Changes to this policy

If the app ever gains a feature that changes how data is handled — cloud sync or an export service, for instance — this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and the effective date at the top will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on the App Store and Google Play.

12. Contact

Questions about this policy or about privacy in WalletDiary are welcome.

Before publishing: replace this box with your support contact — an email address at minimum. The App Store and Google Play both require a reachable contact on the privacy policy you submit.
