    not necessarily

  3. 何必 hébì
    why bother; there's no need to

    何必為這點小事生氣?

    Why get angry over such a small thing?

  4. 簡直 jiǎnzhí
    simply; practically (emphatic)

    他高興得簡直要跳起來。

    He was so happy he practically jumped for joy.

  5. 幸虧 xìngkuī
    fortunately; luckily

    幸虧帶了傘,不然全濕了。

    Luckily I brought an umbrella, or I'd be soaked.

  6. 居然 jūrán
    unexpectedly (stronger disbelief than 竟然)

    他居然會說四種語言。

    Incredibly, he can speak four languages.
